That is what Sustainable Harvest International does in the real world. They work with farmers to promote local, sustainable and regenerative farming practices. Their program helps subsistence farmers and small family farmers grow their own food in a more reliable and resilient way. Using seeds from native plants, developing ecosystems to provide better soil retention, and taking advantage of local fertilizers helps to regenerate the entire area under cultivation and extend it’s use.
