The Cost of Food
A global platform for development, Devex, just posted about a new report that details just how much some of the unhealthy foods and wasteful farming practices cost in terms of monetary costs and the price humans pay in health outcomes. This idea, that there are costs we don’t normally think about is something we need to do in the real world. In the story, the idea of developing a holistic view, not just looking at one aspect or another is prevalent. We need a much more holistic view of what we are doing and how we’re doing it if we’re going to find a way to address real world problems, too.
